Cancelling an order or item

Edited

Overview

You can cancel an order — or sometimes a single item — from the order detail page, as long as the chamber has not started fulfillment. After fulfillment begins, the chamber takes over the cancellation request.

Before you start

  • Cancellations are time-sensitive. The earlier the better.

  • Refund timing depends on the chamber's policy and your bank — typically 5 to 10 business days.

Step-by-step

  1. Open My Orders and click the order in question.

  2. If cancellation is available, you'll see a Cancel button at the top, or Cancel item next to specific lines.

  3. Click and confirm. Add a reason if prompted — it helps the chamber.

  4. The order or item flips to cancelled. A confirmation email follows.

  5. If a refund is owed, the chamber processes it through Stripe. You'll see the refund line on the same order.

Tips & best practices

  • If Cancel is not visible, the order has progressed beyond self-service. Email the chamber directly.

  • For reservation orders, cancelling before payment is straightforward. After payment, ask the chamber.

  • Cancelled inventory immediately becomes available to other sponsors — there's no waiting period.

FAQ

Will I be charged a fee?
Most chambers don't charge cancellation fees, but check their policy. Stripe may take a small processing fee that is not refunded.

Can I cancel just one item from a multi-item order?
Yes, when the order is still in pending or committed status. Use Cancel item on the line.

What about packages?
Packages are usually all-or-nothing. The chamber can sometimes substitute items instead of cancelling.
