Connecting Perplexity
Overview
Perplexity is an AI search and research tool. Chamberly's Perplexity integration lets you query your chamber data conversationally and have results combined with Perplexity's general knowledge. Perplexity MCP support requires the Premier tier.
Before you start
Confirm Premier-tier subscription.
Have a Perplexity Pro account that supports custom MCP connectors.
Generate a Chamberly API key with the scope you want Perplexity to have.
Step-by-step
Open Settings > Integrations > AI Connectors.
Click Connect Perplexity.
Copy the MCP endpoint URL.
In Perplexity, open Settings > Connectors > Add Custom Connector and paste the URL.
Provide your Chamberly API key.
Test by asking Perplexity to summarize your last quarter's revenue.
Tips & best practices
Use Perplexity for research-style queries that mix internal data with external context (industry benchmarks, market info).
Stick to read-only keys unless you have a specific need for writes.
Combine with Claude — they have different strengths.

Only if you provide a read-write API key. Default to read-only.
Where do I see what Perplexity has accessed?
Settings > API Keys > Usage shows recent calls per key.
