Google Calendar integration

Edited

Overview

Connecting Google Calendar lets Chamberly automatically push your events to a chamber calendar. Members can subscribe to it, and your team can see all events in one familiar place.

Before you start

  • Have a Google account with permission to create calendars.

  • Decide whether events sync to an existing calendar or a new one.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar.

  2. Click Connect Google Calendar and approve access in the Google consent flow.

  3. Pick the destination calendar (or create a new one named Chamberly Events).

  4. Toggle on Sync Events and choose which event statuses to include.

  5. Click Save. Existing events sync within a few minutes; new events sync on creation.

Tips & best practices

  • Use a dedicated calendar so subscribers can opt in just to events.

  • Share the calendar publicly via Google's Calendar settings so members can subscribe with one click.

  • If event details change, the calendar updates automatically.

FAQ

Does this also pull Google Calendar events into Chamberly?
No. The sync is one-way — Chamberly to Google.

Can I disconnect later?
Yes. Open Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar and click Disconnect. Synced events remain on the Google side.
