Overview

General settings hold the foundational details about your chamber — name, contact info, address, timezone, industry, social links, and logo. These values appear across the app and on your public pages.

Before you start

  • Have your official chamber name, address, and phone ready.

  • Gather your social profile URLs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

  • Have a square or wide logo file ready (PNG or SVG, ideally under 1 MB).

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings > General.

  2. Fill in chamber name, slug (your unique URL handle), contact email, phone, and address.

  3. Set the timezone — this controls event start times and email send schedules.

  4. Pick your primary industry from the dropdown.

  5. Add social links — leave any field blank to hide that icon publicly.

  6. Upload a logo and click Save.

Tips & best practices

  • Choose your slug carefully — changing it later affects shared links.

  • Use a transparent PNG logo so it works on light and dark backgrounds.

  • Double-check your timezone before publishing time-sensitive events.

FAQ

Will changing my contact email move my login?
No. Login email is separate from chamber contact email.

Can I have a different display name from my legal name?
Yes. Display name is what appears publicly; legal name is internal.
