Exporting members and businesses

Member and business exports give you a clean CSV of your contact records. They are perfect for backups, mail merges, or syncing with your CRM.

Before you start

  • Decide whether you need members, businesses, or both.

  • Confirm whether you want only active records or all (including archived).

Step-by-step

  1. For members, open Sidebar > Members and click Export CSV.

  2. For businesses, open Sidebar > Businesses and click Export CSV.

  3. Apply filters first — search by name, status, or tag.

  4. Open the resulting file in your spreadsheet tool.

  5. Members include name, email, role, business, last login. Businesses include name, contact email, address, representatives, and total spend.

Tips & best practices

  • Schedule monthly exports as a simple offline backup.

  • Strip personally identifiable columns before sharing exports outside your chamber team.

  • Use exports as a mail-merge source for printed mailers.

FAQ

Does the export include passwords or other secrets?
No. Sensitive data is never included in any export.

Can I re-import an edited file?
Imports are not currently supported via CSV — edits must be made in the app.
