Configuring date ranges and rankings

Edited

Overview

Date ranges control the period the leaderboard pulls from. You can show all-time totals, a specific year, or a custom window like a campaign quarter.

Before you start

  • Decide whether your chamber wants ongoing recognition or a season-based competition.

  • Have your fiscal year start month handy if you want yearly resets aligned to it.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings > Leaderboard.

  2. Under Date Range, pick All-time, Yearly, or Custom Range.

  3. For Yearly, set the Year Start Month — useful if your fiscal year is not January.

  4. For Custom, choose the start and end date.

  5. Choose Top N visible (5, 10, 25, or All).

  6. Click Save Configuration.

Tips & best practices

  • Pair custom ranges with promotional pushes — for example, a 90-day giving sprint.

  • Yearly resets create predictable, marketable cycles your sponsors look forward to.

  • Use the Sidebar > Leaderboard date picker to preview ranking changes before publishing.

FAQ

Can I have two leaderboards with different ranges?
Not currently. Chamberly supports a single configured leaderboard per chamber.

Will mid-period date changes shift rankings?
Yes. Rankings recalculate immediately when you change the range.
