Enabling the leaderboard

Edited

Overview

Turning on the leaderboard takes about a minute. This article walks you through enabling the feature, choosing your initial ranking method, and confirming that your tier supports it.

Before you start

  • Sign in as an org_manager or admin role.

  • Verify your subscription tier — the leaderboard requires Pro or higher.

  • Have your branding settings finalized so the leaderboard inherits the correct colors.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to Settings > Leaderboard.

  2. Toggle Enable Leaderboard to On.

  3. Choose Rank By — currently total spend is the only metric, with more coming.

  4. Set the Top N count (default is 10) and a custom heading like Top Supporters.

  5. Pick a Reset Frequency: Never, Yearly, or Custom date range.

  6. Click Save Configuration.

  7. Open Sidebar > Leaderboard to confirm the rankings populate correctly.

Tips & best practices

  • Use a friendly heading. Top Supporters or Champion Sponsors performs better than Leaderboard.

  • Yearly resets pair well with annual sponsor recognition events.

  • Test in a private window before announcing publicly.

FAQ

What happens if I downgrade from Pro?
The leaderboard hides automatically across all locations but configuration is preserved.

Will historical data be lost on reset?
No. Old data remains in your reports — only the public leaderboard view starts fresh.
