Email allowlist restrictions
Overview
The email allowlist limits a coupon's redemption to specific email addresses. It's perfect for VIP-only promotions, partner discounts, or recovery offers sent to a hand-picked list of sponsors.
Before you start
Have your list of allowed email addresses ready (one per line).
Confirm those sponsors use the same email at checkout that's on the allowlist.
Open the coupon under Marketing > Coupons.
Step-by-step
In the coupon editor, scroll to Restrictions.
Find the Email allowlist field.
Paste the list of approved emails, one per line.
Save the coupon. Only addresses on the list can apply the code.
To add or remove an email later, edit the list and save again.
Tips & best practices
Send the coupon code in a private email or notification to the allowlisted sponsors.
Pair the allowlist with per-user limit of 1 for tightest control.
Document the recipient list outside the coupon for audit purposes.
Use this for renewal offers, lapsed-sponsor win-backs, and high-value VIP perks.
FAQ
What if a sponsor enters a different email at checkout?
The coupon will be rejected. Encourage sponsors to use the same email used in their account.
Can I combine allowlist with criteria-based targeting?
The allowlist is a separate restriction. Use either approach as best fits the campaign.
