Scheduling a broadcast

Edited

Overview

Scheduling a broadcast lets you compose a message now and send it at the perfect moment later — Tuesday morning, the day before an event, or right after a major announcement. It eliminates manual "hit send at 9am" reminders.

Before you start

  • Have the broadcast drafted, including subject, body, and recipients.

  • Decide your target send date and time.

  • Confirm the time zone shown matches your chamber's local time.

Step-by-step

  1. In Marketing > Email > Broadcasts, open or create the broadcast.

  2. Complete subject, body, and recipients as normal.

  3. Instead of Send now, click Schedule.

  4. Pick the send date and time. Confirm the time zone.

  5. Click Save schedule. The broadcast moves to the Scheduled tab.

  6. To change the time, open the broadcast and click Reschedule.

  7. To cancel, click Cancel schedule before the send time.

Tips & best practices

  • Tuesday and Thursday mornings (9–10am local) tend to perform best for B2B audiences.

  • Avoid scheduling sends during major holidays unless the message is holiday-related.

  • For event reminders, schedule 24–48 hours before doors open.

  • Re-read the body the morning of the send so you can intercept any errors.

FAQ

Can I edit a scheduled broadcast?

Will the broadcast send if I'm offline?
