All Events Date trigger

Edited

Overview

The All Events Date trigger applies the same days-before logic to every published event in your chamber. It's perfect for a single, evergreen reminder workflow that adapts as you add new events throughout the year.

Before you start

  • Make sure all upcoming events have accurate start dates and times.

  • Choose a single days-before value that makes sense across your event lineup.

  • Plan generic copy that works for any event type (golf tournament, gala, mixer).

Step-by-step

  1. In Marketing > Automations click New automation.

  2. Pick All Events Date as the trigger.

  3. Set Days before (5 days is a common default).

  4. Leave recipients as "all sponsors of the event" so the system auto-targets each event's sponsor list.

  5. Use merge tags such as {{event_name}} and {{event_date}} in the subject and body so each send personalizes itself.

  6. Send a preview using a real upcoming event for context.

  7. Save and toggle to Active.

Tips & best practices

  • Keep copy event-agnostic. Avoid hard-coded venue names or dress codes.

  • Pair this with a per-event Event Date trigger when you want extra detail for marquee events.

  • Document the automation in your team runbook so staff know it covers every event.

  • Review the performance metrics monthly to spot deliverability issues early.
