All Events Date trigger
Overview
The All Events Date trigger applies the same days-before logic to every published event in your chamber. It's perfect for a single, evergreen reminder workflow that adapts as you add new events throughout the year.
Before you start
Make sure all upcoming events have accurate start dates and times.
Choose a single days-before value that makes sense across your event lineup.
Plan generic copy that works for any event type (golf tournament, gala, mixer).
Step-by-step
In Marketing > Automations click New automation.
Pick All Events Date as the trigger.
Set Days before (5 days is a common default).
Leave recipients as "all sponsors of the event" so the system auto-targets each event's sponsor list.
Use merge tags such as
{{event_name}}and{{event_date}}in the subject and body so each send personalizes itself.Send a preview using a real upcoming event for context.
Save and toggle to Active.
Tips & best practices
Keep copy event-agnostic. Avoid hard-coded venue names or dress codes.
Pair this with a per-event Event Date trigger when you want extra detail for marquee events.
Document the automation in your team runbook so staff know it covers every event.
Review the performance metrics monthly to spot deliverability issues early.
