Using the Social Icons block

Edited

Overview

The Social Icons block adds linked icons for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and your website to any email. It’s typically placed in the footer or right above it.

Before you start

  • Have your social handles or full URLs ready.

  • Decide which networks to include — only the ones you actively post to.

Step-by-step

  1. Drag a Social Icons block into the canvas.

  2. Toggle on the platforms you want to show: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Website.

  3. Paste the full URL for each.

  4. Pick an Icon style: Outline, Filled, or Color.

  5. Set Alignment and Spacing.

  6. Click Save changes.

Tips & best practices

  • Less is more — 3 to 4 icons in a row outperforms 6+.

  • Use the same icon style as the rest of your brand assets so the email feels consistent.

  • If you don’t actively post on a platform, leave it out. Dead icons hurt trust.

FAQ

Can I add a custom social network?
Not directly. Use a Custom HTML block to insert a custom icon and link.

Do icon styles render the same in all email clients?
Yes — we use bulletproof image-based icons that render identically in Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, and Yahoo.
