Using the Two-Column block

Edited

Overview

The Two-Column block lets you place two pieces of content side by side — perfect for benefits lists, image-and-text combos, or pairing two CTAs. It supports 50/50, 60/40, and 70/30 ratios with adjustable column gap.

Before you start

  • Two-column layouts stack vertically on mobile. Plan content that reads well in both orientations.

  • Have each column’s content (text, image, or button) ready.

Step-by-step

  1. Drag a Two-Column block into the canvas.

  2. Pick a Ratio: 50/50, 60/40, or 70/30.

  3. Drag any other block (Text, Image, Button) into either column.

  4. Set the Column gap from the right panel.

  5. Click Save changes.

Tips & best practices

  • Use 60/40 with image left and text right for product feature emails.

  • Avoid putting tall content next to short content — the columns equalize but feel awkward.

  • Keep text columns under 30 words each so they read quickly.

FAQ

Can I nest a two-column inside another two-column?
No. Nesting causes mobile rendering issues. Stack two separate two-column blocks instead.

What ratio should I use?
50/50 is the safest default. 60/40 works well when one column has an image. 70/30 is best when one side is a small label or icon.
