Resetting styling to defaults

Edited

Overview

If your styling experiments have gone too far, Chamberly lets you reset a single section or the entire event page to factory defaults. This is non-destructive in one direction only — once reset, your previous custom values are gone.

Before you start

  • Take screenshots of the current event page if you want a visual record.

  • Note any specific hex codes or layout choices you want to remember.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Settings > Styling > Event Page.

  2. To reset one section, scroll to that section and click Reset section in the top-right of the panel.

  3. To reset everything, click Reset all to defaults at the top of the page.

  4. Confirm the dialog. The change is immediate.

  5. Click Save changes to commit the reset.

Tips & best practices

  • Reset section is your friend — use it when you’ve just messed up the Color Palette but the Hero is fine.

  • If you’re onboarding a new admin, a fresh global reset is a good way to start them with a known baseline.

  • The Reset all to defaults button does not affect Email Builder templates or email styling.

FAQ

Can I undo a reset?
No. Once you save after a reset, the previous values are not recoverable. Screenshot first if in doubt.

Does reset affect content?
No. It only changes styling controls. Events, sponsorships, and orders are untouched.
