Edited

Overview

The first-rights report is your single source of truth for renewal performance across your chamber. It rolls up every holder across every sponsorship into one filterable table with claim rates, expiration windows, and revenue captured versus at-risk.

How to access

  1. Go to Sidebar > Reports.

  2. Open the First rights tab.

  3. Choose a date range — defaults to the active fiscal year.

Columns explained

  • Sponsorship — the sponsorship name with a link to its detail page.

  • Event — parent event for context.

  • Total holders — number of distinct holders assigned.

  • Total quantity assigned — sum of all rights across holders.

  • Claimed — count and percentage of claimed quantity.

  • Unclaimed — count and dollar value still at risk.

  • Expiration — earliest expiration date in the renewal window.

  • Status — current availability (not_yet_available, first_rights, public, sold_out).

Filters and views

  • Filter by event, expiration window, or holder status.

  • Toggle Group by event to see event-level totals.

  • Click any row to drill into the per-sponsorship holders list.

Tips & best practices

  • Save a custom view for "expiring this week" — review it every Monday morning.

  • Export to CSV for board reports or fiscal-year planning.

  • Compare the prior year's claim rate to spot sponsorships that need stronger outreach.

FAQ

Does the report include packages?
Holders are tied to individual sponsorships, but if a sponsor claimed via a package, the report shows the underlying child sponsorship as claimed.

Why is unclaimed dollar value higher than expected?
It uses the sponsorship's current public price multiplied by unclaimed quantity. Adjust expectations if you offered renewal pricing.
