Editing packages
Overview
Most package fields can be edited after publishing, but a few — like discount type and core item composition — are locked once orders exist. This article walks through what's editable, what's not, and how to safely modify a live package.
Before you start
Check whether the package has any committed or completed orders under the Orders tab.
Snapshot pricing if you plan to compare before/after.
If a major restructure is needed, clone the package and retire the original instead of editing.
What you can always edit
Public name, description, and images
Internal notes and admin tags
Visibility (Public / Private)
Per-buyer purchase limits and remaining inventory
What's locked after orders exist
Discount type (bundle vs item)
Removing items already purchased
Reducing total inventory below sold quantity
Step-by-step
Go to Sidebar > Packages and open the package.
Click Edit in the header.
Make your changes. The form will gray out any locked fields and show a tooltip explaining why.
Click Save changes. A confirmation appears summarizing what changed.
If price or inventory changed, the system writes an entry to the package activity log.
Tips & best practices
Use the Preview button to see the storefront card before saving.
Add an internal note explaining why you edited a live package — useful for audits.
Avoid changing prices on published packages without a sponsor heads-up; instead, expire the package and launch a new one.
FAQ
Will sponsors see my changes immediately?
Yes — the storefront and any active claim links pull live data.
Can I add a sponsorship to a published package?
Yes, as long as the new sponsorship is in public availability. Existing orders are unaffected.
