Exposure tiers and the Our Sponsors wall

Edited

Overview

Exposure tiers control how prominently a sponsor's logo appears on the Our Sponsors wall — the section of your event page that displays purchased sponsors with their logos. Higher tiers get bigger logos and more prominent placement.

Before you start

  • You need an org_manager or chamber_staff role to set exposure tiers

  • Decide your tier hierarchy (typical: Platinum > Gold > Silver > Bronze)

  • Make sure your sponsorships have featured images or logos uploaded

Step-by-step

  1. Open the sponsorship from the parent event

  2. Click Edit sponsorship

  3. Set Exposure tier to the level you want (1 = highest, 5 = lowest in the default theme)

  4. Click Save

  5. Repeat for each sponsorship to assign tiers consistently

How the wall renders

  • Tier 1 sponsors get the largest logo size and appear at the top

  • Each subsequent tier gets a smaller logo and appears below

  • Within a tier, sponsors are ordered by purchase date

  • Sponsors who have not uploaded a logo show a name-only placeholder

Tips & best practices

  • Match exposure tiers to price tiers — higher-paying sponsors expect bigger logos

  • Set exposure tier when you create the sponsorship, not after sales begin

  • Style the wall in Settings > Event Page Styling > Sponsors Wall to control colors, spacing, and column counts

  • Encourage sponsors to upload logos by sending a reminder after purchase

FAQ

Can a sponsor opt out of the wall?
Yes — they can hide their logo from their account settings. They still receive all other benefits.

What happens if a sponsor never uploads a logo?
Their business name appears as text in their tier's slot.

Can I show the wall on multiple pages?
Yes — the wall appears on each event page, and you can also surface a chamber-wide leaderboard via Settings > Leaderboard.
