Setting inventory and quantity
Overview
Inventory is how many of a sponsorship can be sold or claimed. Once inventory reaches zero, the sponsorship automatically moves to sold_out. Set inventory honestly — it protects you from overselling and protects sponsors from buying something that does not exist.

Tips & best practices
For exclusive sponsorships (Title, Presenting), set inventory to 1
Use a per-order limit of 1 for tiers where you do not want a single business buying multiple slots
If you sell out and want to add more slots, just bump inventory — status auto-flips back to
publicWatch the inventory column in the Sponsorships list to spot what is selling fast
FAQ
What if two sponsors try to buy the last slot at the same time?
Whoever completes checkout first wins. The other sees a sold-out message at payment.
Can I oversell on purpose?
No — inventory is a hard limit. Increase the count if you decide to allow more.
Does cancelling an order restore inventory?
Yes. Cancelling or refunding restores one slot to inventory and flips status back to public if it was sold_out.
