Recurring events
Overview
Many chamber events repeat — annual galas, quarterly mixers, monthly luncheons. Chamberly does not have a single "recurring event" toggle. Instead, you clone the prior occurrence and update its date. This keeps each instance independently reportable.

Tips & best practices
Clone right after the prior event ends, while details are fresh
Use a consistent naming convention (e.g., "2026 Spring Mixer", "2027 Spring Mixer")
Update prices to reflect inflation — many chambers raise sponsorships 5-10% year over year
Use first-rights windows to lock in past sponsors before opening to the public
FAQ
Will Chamberly auto-create next year's event?
Not yet. Manual cloning gives you control over dates, pricing, and lineup changes.
Can I link the new event to the old one?
Not directly, but consistent naming makes it easy to find the series in the Events list.
Should I archive the old event after cloning?
Yes. Archive once the event has happened and reports are final.
