Tour of the chamber dashboard

Edited

Overview

The chamber dashboard is the home screen you land on every time you sign in. It gives you an at-a-glance view of revenue, recent orders, upcoming events, and sponsor activity so you can spot what needs attention without digging through reports.

Before you start

  • You need an org_manager or chamber_staff role to access the dashboard

  • Some cards (like Revenue) populate after your first paid order

Step-by-step tour

  1. Top stat cards — Revenue this month, active events, sponsorships sold, and outstanding orders

  2. Sidebar navigation — Events, Sales, Marketing, Management, CMS, and Settings sections

  3. Event activity feed — A live list of recent purchases, claims, and event updates

  4. Upcoming events — The next few events with dates and sponsorship sell-through percentages

  5. Quick actions — Buttons to create an event, create a sponsorship, or invite a team member

  6. Notification bell — Top-right corner; shows platform alerts, sponsor activity, and chamber announcements

Tips & best practices

  • Pin the dashboard as a browser tab so it loads when your team starts the day

  • Use the Revenue card to spot weeks where sales are lagging and trigger a promo email

  • The activity feed is the fastest way to see new sponsor signups without checking each event

  • If a card looks empty, click into the related section — it usually means you have not configured that feature yet

FAQ

Why is my Revenue card showing $0?
Revenue only counts paid orders. If your chamber is in reservation mode, switch to the Sales report to see claimed sponsorships.

Can I customize what cards show?
Not yet. We surface the most important metrics by default and are adding customization in a future update.

Who sees the dashboard?
Only team members with org_manager or chamber_staff roles. Sponsors have a different account view.
